What does it take to start a chapter at my school?
SoFar chapters can be started at colleges, universities, high schools and even middle schools! If you’d like to start a chapter at your school, just contact us and let us know! We’d be more than happy to help you get started! Just find out what your school requires for anyone wanting to start a new club or organization.
What kinds of things does SoFar do?
We are an active organization; we will keep our members informed about local and national and sometimes international issues regarding animal rights. We also rely on the members of our organization to let us know about issues that are important to them and we will find a way to take action. We may attend protests, hold letter writing campaigns, or hand out leaflets. We will hold fundraisers to raise donations for different animal rights causes. We will do whatever we can to aide an important cause, as long as our actions remain within the confines of the law. If a group member does something illegal or inappropriate in regards to an animal rights issue, it reflects badly upon the group and hinders our work.
